One Trustee seat on the Cordelia A. Greene Board of Trustees has been vacated. Nominations for non-incumbent Trustee candidates must be received at the Library on or before April 12th. The nomination must include written confirmation from the nominee of his/her willingness to perform the duties of a library Trustee. The voting will take place at the April meeting by all present eligible voters.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Three year term and attend board meetings which are on the third Monday of every month (except July and December)
· Provides governance for the library, establishes policies, sets goals, hires/oversees the Library Manager and establishes and monitors the annual budget.
· Help with funding and fundraising activities
· Have an OWWL library card in good standing
· Reside in the Town of Castile
· Be enthusiastic about the library, it’s mission and services
